Photography is the art of capturing a moment in time and remembering how life was in that moment. I photographed the Courts family at this special time in their life at the peak of Fall foliage. There’s nothing like a cold, Northwest day to really show off our blazing colors. I photographed the Winkler family just after their boys’ graduations. Adam had just graduated from college and Luke from high school, so this was a special time for them and they hadn’t had a family photo together since the boys were 5 or 6. I loved seeing Adam - it had been about 5 years since his senior photo shoot. They had also planned a big trip to Peru, so they posed with some cheezey fun photos with the travel hats on. So much fun!

I just love it when the extended families get together. This (pre-Covid) photo shoot was a gift from their grandmother who came to visit last summer. It was a fun family reunion for the brothers and the grandchildren too. It feels so good to create memories for them.

Photographing the Campbell family last summer (pre-Covid!) was so awesome! We had such a great time laughing and you could tell how special it was that they were all together. Some of the brothers had come up from California & one of the cousins just flew in for the day. This was a wonderful present for their mom, to have a Family Photo of all the siblings and the grandchildren. It was one of the biggest family group shots I believe I done and I just love how it turned out - it makes you smile when family gets together. They are lovely photos that you just want to put on your walls, each family had their own family photo taken too.

I’m so happy to share the Patrick Family Photos from last year. They hadn’t had a family photo taken in years and wanted to have a photo shoot before St. Patrick’s Day, (photos taken in February 2019). Even though it’s pretty cold here, you wouldn’t know it by looking at the photos. I love the winter trees in many of the shots but also liked adding the golden grass for it’s texture and color. I even threw in a few black & white shots. Enjoy!

“Family Photos are just so fun and happy, especially when there are 2 sweet young girls in a daisy field and your grandparents come to visit too. Their grandparents had driven across country and were visiting for a week or so, so there was no better time to get together for a family photo shoot. I love it when I have a chance to photograph families multiple times, I photographed them in the Fall a few years back, and it was so fun to see how the girls had grown and nice to photograph in the springtime when everything is so green and fresh...”

“ Jessica and her 4 boys live in Hawaii, but were out here visiting the boys Grandmother in Oregon City. Jessica loves photography like I do and is the main photographer in the family. She was excited to have the opportunity to be in the photos - not just take them - surrounded by her handsome boys. She loved the idea of having a Pacific Northwest vibe so we headed to a local park with its gorgeous trees and pathways. The boys ran around and danced and even had some photos taken with their grandmother. These are the moments that we love and cherish with our family all around us.
