Senior Photo Submission Deadlines for 2018

It seems like you all just started school, but believe it or not, your 2018 Senior Yearbook Photos will be due very soon! There's still time to book your session, but don't wait too long!Here are the dates I have found for our local high schools.

• Milwaukie:        October 16
• Oregon City:     November 1
• West Linn:        November 3
• Lakeridge:         November 3
• Tigard:               November 7
• Tualatin:            December 8
• Wilsonville:       January 15, 2018
• Lake Oswego:   Early January 2018 (TBD)

Once we schedule a date, I like to meet with you one on one to talk over your preferences, hobbies, and ideas and we then design a shoot that is just for you.  The photo shoot will typically take around 2 hours and will include multiple clothing changes to show your different styles and  highlight you and your personality.To schedule your Senior Photo Shoot, please contact me as soon as possible at kerrisphotos@msn.com or call me at 503-382-9052.

Professional Photos at WLHS Baccalaureate

If you are attending West Linn High School (WLHS) Baccalaureate, that is the perfect time to get some quality graduate photos with your grad, family, and friends. The actual graduation ceremony is typically crowded, chaotic, and very often nearly impossible to get a good picture of your son or daughter in their cap and gown. On the other hand, the Baccalaureate ceremony is smaller, at the high school, and you are able to schedule a time slot for a photo of the grad along with some of their buddies and/or family.Photos are scheduled for either before the ceremony (6-6:30pm) or after (8-8:45pm).Please email me at kerrisphotos@msn.com to schedule your time.Congratulations to all the WLHS Seniors!

West Linn Baby Photographer, Jaelithe is 1 year old

Jaelithe had her first birthday, and she is absolutely adorable. We had so much fun singing and playing while taking her 1 year old photos. She played musical instruments,  read Eric Carle's book, (he's my favorite author too), she wore a princess crown and  ran around, it was super fun. And I found my Mickey Mouse hat for her to try on. She looks all ready to visit Disneyland and we know she will very soon, because her parents are big fans of the Happiest Place on Earth. I can't help but smile big while looking back on these photos, so so sweet Jaelithe!

West Linn Photographer, Classic Studio Photography

These past few months I have been photographing in Kerri Ann Garfield Photography Studio, as much as possible. This was one of the wettest winters ever, so I was so happy to have my studio to photograph in. The below photo session was a wonderful day of photography; featuring Sean, Olivia and Lisa. They brought some cool outfits, their unique style  and we spent the whole day photographing portraits with some dramatic lighting, classic styles, and using a beauty light too. I love how each one has their own look. Sean had just dyed his hair blonde, so that was what we accented. Olivia has beautiful long curly hair, a beautiful look, and Lisa brought an old wrap of her grandmothers, we also added a hat for fun to one of her looks and the results are fantastic for all!

My studio in West Linn is always open for us to do dramatic lighting, actor shots, corporate headshots, baby photo shoots, and more!

Oregon City Senior Photographer, Hannah's Senior Portraits

With the sun shining, I'm excited to get back out photographing. Here is a fun photo shoot we had before the rain came. Hannah had the creative idea of having her Senior Photo Shoot at a friends farm in Wilsonville. Not only were there barns, fences, and fields for us to use as beautiful backdrops, we also had llamas and sweet Betty the Camel! Hannah is such a natural in front of the camera, with her beautiful smile and lovely personality. We had such a fun day with everyone at the farm. Enjoy!
